International School Hiring! Full Time Principal in Pahang, Earn up to MYR 7,500 - Ricebowl

We are seeking an experienced and committed Principal to provide strong academic and educational leadership for the School.

The Principal will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Management, and Board of Governors to lead the School, maintain high academic standards, support staff development, and ensure a safe and positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic and educational leadership for the School.
• Lead the development, delivery, and review of the Cambridge curriculum and academic programs.
• Oversee teaching quality, lesson planning, classroom observations, student assessment, and academic progress.
• Lead and mentor teachers, including performance management, professional development, and staff supervision.
• Oversee student welfare, safeguarding, discipline, health, and safety.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee school policies, academic procedures, handbooks, and the annual academic calendar.
• Lead accreditation-related matters and ensure compliance with relevant education requirements.
• Work with Management on school planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and development.
• Support student enrollment and school development initiatives.
• Represent the School in academic matters and with relevant external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continued development and direction of ISK as a Cambridge international school.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in school leadership, preferably at Principal, Headteacher, or equivalent level within an international school.
• Strong experience with the Cambridge curriculum and international education.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, teaching and learning, assessment, and student development.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing academic staff.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school management, teachers, parents, and students.
• Strong commitment to academic quality, student welfare, and continuous school development.
• International outlook and experience working in a multicultural school environment.
• Ability to understand and respond to the challenges faced by private international schools.
