Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enforce compliance with company HSE policies, ZETO Rules, client HSE requirements and statutory regulations.
Review JHA/JSA, HSE Plans and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
Conduct daily Toolbox Meetings and safety inspections; maintain attendance and inspection records.
Monitor site and workshop activities to ensure safe work practices and enforce strict PPE compliance.
Identify hazards, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions; implement and follow up corrective actions.
Monitor subcontractors and freelancers for HSE compliance.
Maintain HSE records including UAUC, PTW, toolbox records, inspection checklists and other documents.
Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and UAUC observations; assist in investigation and root cause analysis.
Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure emergency procedures are understood and practised.
Monitor manufacturing and fabrication activities (machinery, lifting, welding, hot works, etc.) to ensure compliance and good housekeeping.
Ensure tools, lifting gears, equipment and machines are inspected, certified and fit for purpose.
Conduct safety induction, support toolbox talks and promote safety awareness.
Lead and participate in HSE meetings, prepare reports & provide safety performance updates.
Support ISO 45001 and AS9100 (Product Safety & Awareness) requirements and ensure safety practices do not compromise product conformity.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or related field.
Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification where required by law.
Must have Yellow Book (Construction Industry Development Board – CIDB).
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in site and/or workshop safety supervision.
Good knowledge of OSH Act 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974 and other relevant regulations.
Familiarity with ISO 45001.
Basic awareness of AS9100 requirements will be an advantage.
Strong communication, leadership and enforcement skills.
Able to work independently and confidently engage with site personnel, subcontractors and clients.
Willing to travel and work at project sites (onshore and offshore) when required.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
