JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Site Supervisor (Architectural) is responsible for assisting in the supervision, coordination and monitoring of architectural works at the construction site. The position focuses mainly on architectural, interior and finishing works, ensuring that works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):
1. Assist the Architectural Supervisor/Site Manager/Project Manager in supervising day-to-day architectural works at the construction site.
2. Monitor and coordinate architectural works, including:

• Plastering and wall finishes
• Tiling and flooring
• Painting
• Ceiling works
• Doors and windows
• Waterproofing
• Joinery and cabinetry
• Other architectural and finishing works

3. Check site works against approved architectural drawings, specifications, material samples and construction details.

4. Monitor the workmanship and quality of architectural works and highlight any defects, discrepancies or non-compliance for rectification.

5. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and workers to ensure works are carried out according to the project schedule.

6. Assist in coordinating architectural works with structural, M&E and other site works to minimize clashes and delays.

7. Carry out regular site inspections and monitor the progress of works.

8. Assist in checking site measurements, levels, dimensions and installation details where required.

9. Assist the Project/Site Manager/Supervisor in reviewing drawings and identifying any discrepancies or site issues.

10. Follow up on snagging, defects and rectification works and ensure outstanding items are completed properly.

11. Monitor materials delivered to site and ensure they are in accordance with the approved specifications and samples.

12. Maintain proper records of site progress, inspections, defects, materials and other relevant site matters.

13. Liaise with consultants, contractors and subcontractors on day-to-day architectural matters under the direction of the Project/Site Manager.

14. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the company's requirements, project specifications and applicable safety requirements.

15. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
