Laboratory Technician

Salary: RM2,500 – RM2,900

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support our QAQC and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing on aggregates, bitumen, RAP, and asphalt mixtures.
• Collect and prepare samples from production and project sites.
• Record and maintain laboratory test results and quality records.
• Monitor asphalt mix quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Report abnormal results or non-conformance to the QAQC Engineer / Plant Manager.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper documentation.
• Assist with quality audits and other laboratory-related duties.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or related field.
• Experience in construction materials or laboratory testing is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
