Job Description

• Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and related accounting schedules.

• Perform bookkeeping and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.

• Prepare bank reconciliations, account reconciliations and other supporting schedules.

• Liaise with clients to obtain relevant accounting documents and information.

• Assist in preparing tax computations and tax-related schedules.

• Assist with audit and statutory requirements where necessary.

• Provide accounting and business-related support and advisory to clients.

• Identify accounting issues and communicate with the senior/team leader for appropriate solutions.

• Ensure all assignments are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.

• Assist in other ad-hoc accounting and advisory assignments when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.

• Candidates with experience in an accounting firm will have an added advantage.

• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount or similar systems.

• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
