JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician – Mechanical (Workshop) to execute and support mechanical maintenance activities, particularly for rotating and static equipment, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with HRC HSSE standards, procedures, and requirements.
- Execute maintenance activities in accordance with the GAME Maintenance Execution process.
- Execute mechanical maintenance work assigned by the Planner, Scheduler, or Area Engineer through to completion and closure.
- Perform plant change and modification work as required.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, valves, filters, vessels, columns, relief valves, and other mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plant rotating equipment.
- Adhere to workshop safety procedures, SOPs, and applicable working guidelines.
- Work closely with Inspection, Operations, Technologists, Procurement, Workshop personnel, and contractors on maintenance-related matters.
- Provide support to other disciplines when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Turnaround activities and other major maintenance activities.
- Obtain and maintain relevant competency certifications in accordance with HRC requirements.
- Perform other duties related to mechanical maintenance as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- Candidates with relevant working experience in rotating equipment and mechanical plant maintenance are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance of rotating and static mechanical equipment will be an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliable maintenance practices.
- Willingness to work beyond normal office hours, including weekends, public holidays, and during Turnaround activities when required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and coordinate with multiple departments and contractors.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
