About the role

We are seeking a Field Operation professional to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position based in our Kuching operations centre. As a Field Operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, efficient deployment and maintenance of our telecommunications infrastructure. You will be the backbone of our field operations, managing on-site activities, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring all field work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal teams and contractors to ensure smooth operational activities.
• Monitor and ensure all trouble tickets (TT) are updated with complete information and closed within the required timeframe.
• Monitor and maintain the Network Management System (NMS) to ensure continuous operation and prompt clearance of alarms.
• Coordinate and ensure network maintenance activities are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out according to the scheduled maintenance plan.
• Assist in the preparation of operational reports, performance metrics, and management review documentation.

What we're looking for

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Knowledge of fibre-optic cable systems and telecommunications networks is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing and able to work on a shift basis.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
