JOB SUMMARY

Electrical & Electronic Engineering (specialized in Digital IC Design)

This position search fouses on expertise in Digital IC Design, while having knowledge in both electrical and electronic fields in general.

The academic staff member will independently deliver teaching and conduct research within their discipline or a related field. They will contribute independently to research and/or scholarly activities that advance knowledge and contribute to the development of their field.

They will demonstrate expertise and provide leadership and service that includes coordination of activities of other staff, as appropriate to the discipline.

The academic staff will normally:

• Contribute to teaching at undergraduate, honours and post graduate level;
• Contribute to professional activities appropriate to his or her profession or discipline;
• Engage in independent scholarship and/or research;
• Contribute to the innovation ecosystem and contribute expertise to the creation of value from innovation and engagement activities.

He or she will normally undertake administration primarily relating to his or her activities at the institution and may be required to perform the full academic responsibilities of and related administration for the coordination of an award program of the institution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
• In exceptional circumstances equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Registration as Electrical discipline with a professional body such as Board of Engineers Malaysia is required. 
• Professional qualification in a relevant field or those progressing towards the qualification (if applicable).
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in relevantsub-areas or specialist areas, with familiarity in applying digital learning technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Demonstrated research track record, including evidence of scholarly activity, research outputs, and contributions to relevant academic or professional fields is an added advantage.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other universities, government agencies, professional bodies, and private organisations.
• Prior teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Ability to identify research opportunity and attract external support.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
