POSITION : BODY REPAIR TECHNICIAN(Panel Beater)

Purpose : A body repair technician repairs vehicles that have been damaged through collisions, dents, corrosion, or general wear. The job involves restoring the vehicle’s structure while making sure repairs meet safety and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

* Remove damaged body panels and components.

* Repair or replace doors, bonnets, wings, bumpers, and other panels.

* Straighten damaged vehicle structures using specialist equipment.

* Carry out MIG/MAG welding and other joining techniques.

* Repair dents and minor body damage.

* Use measuring and alignment equipment.

* Prepare repaired areas for painting.

* Follow manufacturer repair procedures.

* Work safely with tools, machinery, paints, chemicals, and vehicles.

* Complete repair documentation and quality checks.
