About The Role
As an APM / PE, you be responsible for providing advanced administrative support to the project management team. This includes documentation preparation, escalation for commitment, financial modeling, financial reconciliations, and reporting.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
What You’ll Do
- Point of contact to the IT department on tracking desktop hardware and software issues.
- Manage the implementation of and monitor adherence to project administrative practices and policies.
- Create and maintain project policies and directives within the project operations manual.
- Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external customer inquiries concerning performance reports and project tracking system data. Audit, solicit, and report on key performance indicators.
- Schedule internal and external customer training on software applications.
- Oversee team close-out procedures.
- Prepare complex and special client reports as required.
- Train and provide guidance to new and junior team members on policies and administration.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

What You’ll Need:
Experience
- Strong background in managing the deployment of network cabling infrastructure, including fiber optic, copper cabling, point-to-point connections, and structured cabling systems.
- Experience working in data centers, enterprise IT facilities, or telecommunications environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Familiarity with standards and best practices for cabling infrastructure, such as TIA/EIA or ISO/IEC standards.
Skills
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network cabling deployment processes, including routing, cable dressing, labelling, patching, and pathway creation (e.g., cable trays, conduits).
- Project Oversight: Ability to supervise installations, evaluate progress, and address quality and compliance issues on-site.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Experience coordinating with external vendors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met, while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders.
- Inspection and Reporting: Skilled in performing detailed site inspections and compiling concise reports on findings, progress, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Experience with cabling testing tools such as Fluke or OTDR testers.
