Support the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in leading end-to-end logistics operations, covering shipping & export, transportation & fleet, warehouse operations, inventory control, and continuous improvement. Act as departmental deputy and drive operational efficiency, compliance, cost control, and service excellence.
What you will do:
- Oversee local and export shipment planning, execution, documentation, and customs compliance (including HS Codes, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, B/L, K1/K2/K3).
- Manage transportation planning, fleet utilisation, vehicle maintenance, driver performance, and on-time delivery performance.
- Lead daily warehouse operations (inbound/outbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch) and optimise layout, productivity, 5S, and safety standards.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, discrepancy investigation, ERP discipline, and FIFO/FEFO enforcement.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Purchasing, Planning, QA, and Finance; lead the department in the Manager’s absence.
- Build strong relationships with customers, transport vendors, and freight forwarders; resolve issues and support cost/service negotiations.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, ISO standards, customs regulations, and safety requirements; support audits and close non-conformities.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives through data analysis and KPI monitoring.
- Prepare and review key management reports (Inventory Accuracy, Warehouse & Logistics KPIs, OTIF, Fleet Utilisation, Transportation Cost, Productivity, etc.).
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 4 - 8 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations, including supervisory/assistant manager role.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, fleet management, and inventory control.
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
