Job Summary

KDI Garments Sdn Bhd is looking for Production General Workers / Production Assistants to support our daily garment production operations.

This is a multi-purpose and flexible production role. Employees may be assigned to different production areas depending on workload and operational requirements, including QC, Printing, Sublimation, Heat Press, Packing and other production activities.

We are looking for hardworking, responsible and flexible individuals who are willing to learn and assist across different areas of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily garment production activities according to assigned tasks.
• Assist with Printing and Sublimation production.
• Assist with Heat Press operations.
• Assist the QC team with checking and preparing finished garments.
• Prepare and arrange materials and products for production.
• Assist with sorting, moving and arranging production materials.
• Assist technicians and production staff when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned work area.
• Follow production instructions, quality requirements and safety procedures.
• Move between departments according to production needs and workload.
• Assist with Packing and finishing work when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc production duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Department Coordinator.
• Ensure assigned work is completed within the required production timeline.

Requirements

• No specific experience required; training will be provided.
• Previous experience in garment, printing, production or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on production work.
• Willing to learn different production processes.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to assist different departments when required.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Overtime & Earnings

• Basic salary: RM1,700 per month.
• Overtime opportunities are available based on production workload and operational requirements.
• Total monthly earnings may increase depending on the amount of overtime worked.
• Overtime payment will be calculated according to applicable employment regulations.

Working Conditions

• Monday to Saturday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Overtime may be required depending on production requirements and deadlines.
• Hands-on production environment.
• Employees may be assigned to different production areas according to operational needs.
