Job Summary
Yakin Invest Corporation Sdn Bhd is looking for a dedicated and organized Account Assistant to support our fast-paced accounts department. You will manage daily bookkeeping tasks, process accounts payable and receivable, and maintain accurate financial records using our accounting system. This position offers a great platform for junior professionals and motivated fresh graduates to build a solid career in corporate accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and standard transaction records.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general payment preparation.
• Post transactions and verify data accuracy directly within the AutoCount accounting software.
• Maintain, secure, and organize all physical and electronic files, financial spreadsheets, and cash equivalents.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical financial data for comprehensive record-keeping.
• Handle general department administration and administrative clerical tasks.
• Take on ad-hoc duties and task requests from superiors as needed.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and AutoCount Accounting software is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related working experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must possess own transport to commute to the office.
• Able to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and handle occasional long hours.
• Availability to start work immediately is highly advantageous.
