Job Description – IT Executive

Position: IT Executive

Location: Senawang - Seremban - NS Malaysia

Reports To: IT Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Executive to support daily IT operations in a manufacturing environment. The role covers end-user support, system administration, server and network maintenance, and coordination with vendors, customers, and HQ.

Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking vendors, customers, and HQ teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Provide daily end-user technical support and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain user accounts, access rights, and system permissions.
• Support and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Perform basic server monitoring, patching, backup, and troubleshooting.
• Support LAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, VPN, switches, and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot IT issues affecting office and manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and HQ for system issues, maintenance, and technical support.
• Maintain basic IT documentation, asset records, and system information.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on IT support or system administration experience.
• Knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Linux, networking, firewall, Wi-Fi, and basic server administration.
• Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin for communication with vendors, customers, and HQ.
• Good working English.
