Job Summary

1. Perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs or ECGs) and obtain a good electrocardiograph reading for Cardiologist’s review.

2. Perform Treadmill Stress Tests: connect patient to an ECG monitor, obtain a baseline heart rate and resting blood pressure; observe the effect of increased exertion during the test. 

3. Complete Non Invasive Peripheral Vascular Tests by collecting Ultrasound Echo to form a screen image of the heart function, blood flow, and circulation.

4. Perform Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Event Recording and Holter Monitoring with sufficient education to clients prior to the procedure. Ensure clients understood.

Job requirements

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Nursing or other Allied Health Profession

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular laboratory

• Able to work extended hours and on-call duties
