Responsibilities
Based in: Head Office, Ipoh
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and manage enterprise IT infrastructure environments, including:
- ERP/SAP platforms
- Enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Windows Server (Wintel) and Linux server environments
- Microsoft 365 and related cloud services
- Infrastructure monitoring and operational tools
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable IT services.
- Perform troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Coordinate with technology vendors on system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in IT audit activities, compliance reviews, and security assessments to ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Explore, evaluate, and support AI-enabled IT automation initiatives, including AI agents and autonomous task execution to improve productivity and service delivery.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science or relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 3.0 from recognized universities.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT infrastructure support and administration.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
- ERP/SAP administration or support
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Windows Server and Linux administration
- Enterprise backup and recovery solutions
- Networking and cybersecurity technologies
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Cisco, cybersecurity, cloud certifications) will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in modern automation technologies, AI solutions, and AI-powered IT operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good in teamwork and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to adapt to evolving technologies.
- Willing to travel.
