About the role

Join the dynamic team at ING HING HONG TRADING SDN. BHD. as an Account Executive. In this full-time role based in Sibu, Sarawak, you will play a vital role in the accounting and bookkeeping operations of our growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal/ external audits.

• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Manage budgets, including tracking expenses and analysing variances.

• Maintain petty cash and monitor daily cash transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payments.

• Assist in supervising junior accounting staffs when required.

• Communicate financial insights and reports to management.

• Identify and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.

• Support process improvements and SOP implementation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience handling full sets of accounts.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
