We are launching a purpose-built tuition centre in Ipoh, Perak, serving primary and secondary national-syllabus students from underserved communities. Our mission is to make quality academic tuition accessible and affordable for families who've been overlooked by the existing education market.

The Role

As Centre Manager, you will be the operational backbone of the business — owning everything from day-to-day running of the centre to building systems that scale. You'll work directly with the founders to:

• Manage daily centre operations — scheduling, teacher coordination, student enrolment, parent communications
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, PIBG committees, and the local community
• Oversee teacher recruitment, onboarding, and performance (partnering with key institutions for teaching talent)
• Lead digital systems implementation — student management, attendance tracking, payment systems, and basic digital marketing
• Drive enrolment growth through grassroots outreach, social media, and community engagement
• Track and report on key metrics — utilisation rates, revenue, student retention, satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with JPN registration requirements and operational standards

Who We're Looking For

Age: 25–45 years old

Must have:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience, with at least some team management or operational leadership
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Self-starter mentality — you don't wait for instructions, you identify problems and fix them
• Comfortable with technology — can pick up new digital tools quickly and implement systems

Advantage if you have:

• Experience in the education industry — tutoring, school administration, edtech, or related
• Startup experience — you've built something from scratch or worked in an early-stage business
• Digitisation and tech knowledge — familiarity with CRM systems, Ai, basic digital marketing, data tools, or education technology platforms
• Local market knowledge of Ipoh / Perak — community networks, school connections, understanding of the education landscape
