Role Description The Production Engineer (Electrical) is a full-time, on-site role based in Seremban, responsible for overseeing electrical-related production activities for transformers and compact substations. The role includes planning and coordinating production schedules, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks involve analyzing production data, troubleshooting electrical and process issues, and working with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and product quality. The Production Engineer collaborates closely with quality control, design, and procurement to resolve non-conformities and optimize material usage. The position also involves preparing reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and communicating clearly with supervisors, technicians, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Production Engineering, with experience in electrical or transformer manufacturing environments.
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting production data, diagnosing issues, and supporting process optimization.
• Proficiency in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with multiple departments.
• Experience in Quality Control, including inspection of electrical components, adherence to standards, and corrective actions.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and provide clear instructions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant electrical codes.
• Ability to work on-site in Seremban, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Experience with transformer design, testing, or commissioning and knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
