WE ARE HIRING – DEMI CHEF
Swiss Avenue Hotel, Sungai Petani is looking for a dedicated and experienced Demi Chef to join our Kitchen Team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar position
- Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is an advantage
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Disciplined, responsible and committed to work
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and hotel standards
- Ensure food quality, presentation and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area
- Monitor food stock and minimise wastage
- Follow food safety and Halal requirements
