Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Location: Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Relevant working experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Possess a valid driving licence (preferred).

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents.
• Take off quantities from drawings and project specifications.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare price comparisons.
• Assist in tender submissions and project costing.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO), Progress Claims, Variation Orders (VO), and other project-related documentation.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
• Coordinate and maintain project documentation and records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and the project team regarding cost and contractual matters.
• Attend site visits and site measurements whenever required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
