IOI Palm Wood Hiring! Full Time Senior Executive, Accounts in Johor - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly closing and ensure timely, accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with MFRS.

• Review and approve accounting entries, including journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, AR/AP reports and bank reconciliations.

• Supervise inventory stocktakes, resolve discrepancies and ensure inventories are accurately reflected in accounts.

• Prepare financial performance analysis and costing reports to support management decision-making.

• Coordinate audit schedules, provide supporting data, attend to queries and ensure timely clearance of audit issues.

• Prepare tax schedules and assist with annual income tax filing, quarterly tax provisions and CP204A submissions.

• Assist in budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises.

• Mentor junior staff, provide coaching, and ensure smooth departmental operations.

• Liaise with auditors and regulators to maintain full statutory, audit, and regulatory compliance.

• Support special projects and assignments as directed by the Finance Manager or CEO.

Requirements:

• A recognised Degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in commercial accounting, ideally in manufacturing or audit background

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience with ability to mentor junior staff

• Strong knowledge of MFRS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST/SST compliance

• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to present financial information clearly to management

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word, and PowerPoint; experience with AutoCount or SAP Accounting Systems is an added advantage

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
