SAP S/4HANA Payroll Consultant (Remote)

Work Arrangement: Remote

Experience: 5-8 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Payroll Consultant to join a project supporting a leading organization. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver SAP Payroll solutions, support system implementations, and ensure payroll processes are aligned with business and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document payroll business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into SAP S/4HANA Payroll solutions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices.
• Configure and support SAP Payroll components, including payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processing.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documents, and test artifacts.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Integration, and Technical teams.
• Support integrations between SAP Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
• Participate in data migration, validation, reconciliation, and testing activities.
• Support SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs, defect resolution, and post-go-live support.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Payroll or SAP HCM Payroll.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of payroll configuration, payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
• Experience in payroll implementation, testing, and support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidates must be based in Malaysia.
