Responsibilities
Logistics Assistant – Internal Supply
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform daily internal supply of materials, parts and components to production areas.
- Pick and deliver materials according to production requirements and material requests.
- Ensure the correct quantity, part number and material are supplied to the designated production area.
- Monitor production material requirements and ensure timely replenishment to avoid production delays.
- Collect empty containers, excess materials and unused parts from production areas and return them to the designated storage area.
- Update and maintain records of material movement and internal supply transactions.
- Assist with stock checking and physical inventory counts.
- Ensure materials are properly labelled, arranged and handled according to company procedures.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Planning and other relevant departments regarding material requirements.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO requirements where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and good housekeeping in the warehouse and production material areas.
- Follow company safety rules, SOPs and work instructions.
- Perform other duties related to logistics and internal material supply as assigned by the Supervisor/Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Able to handle physical work, including lifting and moving materials.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
- Able to operate a forklift is an added advantage.
- Valid forklift competency/licence or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
- Able to work overtime when required.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
