Precision Assembler
Your Role and Impact
The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating basic equipment and carry out routine tasks.
- Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
- Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance.
- Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
- Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the
- Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with them.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and physically fit to safely lift up to, 10kg.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- With a background in the mechanical industry,
- 1-2 years working experience in mechanical assembly, sand blasting will be a plus.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills.
- Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, and work ethics.
- Basic data input of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to work overtime and weekends if needed.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / SPM and / or 0-2 years relevant experience.(Mechatronic is a plus)
