Software Engineer – Digital SystemsJob Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer to build, maintain, and support the company's digital systems, covering hotel software, automation tools, bots, and internal applications.

The role works hand in hand with the operations team to streamline work processes and deliver practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain company software and internal applications.
• Support Property Management Systems, Revenue Management Systems, and other hotel-related software.
• Build and maintain RPA bots, Python scripts, and automated workflows.
• Connect systems through APIs and databases.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data-processing tools.
• Diagnose and resolve software, system, and bot issues.
• Test new systems and confirm they work correctly before rollout.
• Keep system documentation, source code, and user guides up to date.
• Give technical support and training to staff.
• Coordinate with external software vendors and developers as needed.
• Safeguard company data, passwords, system access, and confidential information.
• Spot manual processes worth automating.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum two years' relevant experience in software development, automation, or system support.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, databases, and web application development.
• Exposure to UiPath, RPA, AppSheet, or similar automation platforms is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
• Able to translate business requirements into workable solutions.
• Able to work independently and juggle several projects at once.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, organised, proactive, and keen to pick up new technologies.

Preferred Experience

Preference goes to candidates with a background in:

• Hotels, hospitality, or hotel software companies.
• Property Management Systems and Revenue Management Systems.
• Channel managers, booking engines, and online travel agency integrations.
• RPA, Python automation, APIs, dashboards, and internal business applications.
