Job description:

We are seeking a Field Technician to support and manage our projects across the Borneo region. The candidate must be willing to travel extensively across Borneo Malaysia states (e.g. Sabah, Sarawak and surrounding areas) and be available for standby duties, including after office hours, to support urgent or critical issues when required.

Job description:

• Installation and deployment which including physical installation, software configuration and peripheral setup.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance including Routine Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repairs and Network Optimization.
• Provide technical Support and administration support including on-site support, acting as the technical liaison between the client and telecom service providers as well as perform administrative changes such as managing the user extensions, modifying IVR, and etc.
• Prepare documentation and reporting including technical documents such as records of system configuration, call flow diagrams, and inventory lists.
• Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists for daily technical operations.
• Providing service reports regarding site visits, completed work, and pending issues on ERP system and daily technical.

Requirements:

• At least diploma/degree in IT, Telecom, Networking or related field
• 1–3 years experience in installation, deployment, project environment and technical support
• Knowledge in system setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and network optimization
• Familiar with technical documentation and reporting (ERP updates)
• Able to follow SOPs and work independently
• Good communication skills
• Must willing to travel
• Possess own transport and driving license (At least car license)

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
