Food Production Supervisor

Job Overview

We are hiring a Production & Operations Supervisor for our client in the pet food manufacturing industry. The role will oversee daily production operations, manage production workers, and ensure production targets, quality and food safety standards are achieved.

Job Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Oversee daily production flow from kitchen preparation to packing, retort, isolation and warehouse transfer.
• Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved.
• Coordinate manpower and production workflow efficiently.
• Monitor and improve daily production efficiency.

Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and food safety SOP compliance.
• Monitor sealing quality, retort process, product handling and isolation process.
• Investigate and reduce production defects, bloating, leakage and wastage.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation practices are carried out daily.

Staff Management

• Supervise production workers and foreign workers.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity and work quality.
• Conduct daily briefings and task arrangements.
• Train workers on SOP, hygiene and operational standards.

Reporting & Improvement

• Maintain production records, checklists and daily reports.
• Monitor stock usage and minimize ingredient and packaging wastage.
• Identify operational issues and propose process improvements.
• Assist management in improving production systems and workflow.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, central kitchen, FMCG or pet food production.
• Experience managing production workers and foreign workers.
• Strong leadership, discipline and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on and comfortable working on the production floor.
• Detail-oriented and responsible.
• Able to work under pressure.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of HACCP / GMP / ISO 22000.
• Food production experience.
• Experience with ERP or production tracking systems.

Working Arrangement

• Full-time & On-site
• Monday to Saturday
• 5.5 working days, depending on production schedule
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 1-hour break
• Seri Kembangan, Selangor

Salary & Benefits

• Overtime allowance where applicable
