Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring daily construction activities and project progress at the site.
• Participate in site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Assist in reviewing construction drawings and identifying discrepancies for the supervisor's attention.
• Record site progress, construction activities, and material deliveries.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and other project documentation.
• Support the measurement and verification of construction quantities and materials.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the project team as required.
• Monitor workmanship, site safety, and housekeeping in accordance with project requirements.
• Report site issues, delays, defects, or discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and civil engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work on-site when required.
• Internship duration: 3 – 6 months
