CSYAP Group Hiring! Full Time Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Process Engineer to support and optimize our chemical surface treatment processes, including plating, anodizing, passivation, and cleaning operations.

The role will focus on process control, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, chemical management, and ensuring production processes meet quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, develop, and optimize chemical surface treatment processes.
• Monitor chemical bath parameters and ensure process consistency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support automated treatment lines, chemical dosing systems, and process improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects such as LEAN, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Support new equipment, chemical formulations, automation, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Support chemical handling, wastewater treatment, and hazardous waste management activities.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and EHS teams.
• Prepare and maintain relevant process documentation, SOPs, and control plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in chemical surface treatment, plating, or manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge or experience in electroplating, anodizing, passivation, phosphating, or conversion coating.
• Experience in chemical bath analysis, adjustment, and process troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of electrochemistry, corrosion, metallurgy, and surface chemistry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Added Advantage

• Valid DOE Competent Person certification such as CePSWaM, CePIETSO-PCP, or CePSO.
• Experience with wastewater treatment, scheduled waste management, or environmental management.
• Experience supporting automated plating or chemical treatment lines.
• Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
