We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer – Java & AWS to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions. The successful candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including application architecture, solution design, prototyping, development, deployment, testing, and production support.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java technologies, AWS cloud services, application architecture, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have proven experience troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimizing SQL queries, conducting performance assessments, and delivering robust solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Provide hands-on technical support through coding, prototyping, and proof-of-concept (POC) development.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Java-based and web applications across AWS cloud and on-premises environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement effective technology solutions.
• Support development, build, deployment, testing, and implementation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, coding guidelines, architectural principles, and industry best practices.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity assessments, and SQL query optimization to improve application efficiency.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex engineering issues affecting application performance, stability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Struts, alongside web technologies such as React JS.
• Work with application servers, databases, and cloud infrastructure, including Tomcat, Oracle 19c, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with technical leaders, architects, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Continuously enhance technical expertise and stay current with emerging technologies and engineering best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in developing, supporting, and managing business-critical applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, particularly Spring Boot and/or Spring Batch.
• Proficiency in web development frameworks, particularly React JS and/or Angular JS.
• Solid experience designing, developing, and supporting critical applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, enterprise application development, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL query tuning, database performance optimization, and Oracle 19c.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat and application deployment across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, and CloudWatch.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical leaders and stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on team player with a positive, collaborative, and can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
• Experience conducting technical assessments, developing POCs, and evaluating architectural solutions.
• Exposure to application security, performance engineering, capacity planning, and cloud best practices.

Pay: Up to $6,000.00 per month
