Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and responsible
Junior Electrical Engineering Technician
to support electrical installation and engineering activities for construction projects in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist engineers in electrical installation and site activities.
Assist in the installation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and site workers to ensure smooth work progress.
Conduct site inspections and check electrical installation works.
Assist with testing, troubleshooting and rectification of electrical systems.
Monitor work progress and report site issues to the project team.
Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, safety requirements and relevant regulations.
Prepare basic site reports, checklists and work records.
Assist with testing and commissioning activities.
Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards at the work site.
Perform other duties assigned by the Project Engineer or Site Supervisor.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in
Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field
.
Minimum
1 year of relevant experience
in electrical engineering, construction or installation works.
Fresh graduates with relevant internship or practical experience may also be considered.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods and construction practices.
Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently.
Safety-conscious and familiar with basic Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Willing to work at different project sites in Singapore.
Able to work in a construction-site environment.
