About the Role

The Senior Manager, Technical Business Development sets and drives regional business development strategy for DKSH's Food and Beverage Ingredients business unit, leading the sales development of formulated Value-Added Materials (VAM) products across the Asia Pacific region. This role is accountable for revenue growth and market share targets, applying deep expertise in food and beverage ingredients, applications, and market dynamics to shape go-to-market strategy and deliver sustainable, long-term commercial growth.

What You Will Deliver

• Act as the recognized subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, representing the business at senior customer and partner level
• Direct and steer country-level sales projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional priorities
• Coach and advise country leaders on complex sales opportunities and key account activities
• Design and deliver training programmes for local sales and technical teams to build regional capability and commercial excellence
• Drive the adoption of commercial best practices consistently across countries
• Own regional project pipeline governance, ensuring visibility, accuracy, and timely follow-up across all markets
• Chair monthly regional calls with country teams to review performance, align priorities, and resolve blockers
• Guide countries in managing strategic Food and Beverage (F&B) client relationships to maximize long-term value
• Shape and own the regional segment strategy for Food and Beverage Ingredients, translating strategy into an actionable plan with clear initiatives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and accountabilities in partnership with country leadership
• Lead regular strategy reviews with countries, holding teams accountable for delivery and driving corrective action where needed
• Leverage industry analyses, benchmarking, and market research to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities
• Identify emerging application and service needs within the F&B segment and shape the appropriate commercial response
• Influence the product roadmap and innovation pipeline, leading the commercial case for pitching to new clients
• Lead the onboarding of new regional clients and the execution of product launches
• Partner with marketing to develop regional campaigns and digital content that strengthen market presence
• Serve as the primary voice for thought leadership, representing the company at industry forums and in key content initiatives
• Build team capability through knowledge sharing and coaching, leading the team in delivering the company's strategic direction
• Manage and influence a broad range of senior internal and external stakeholders and customers to achieve shared business objectives

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in food and beverage ingredients, technical sales, or business development; 5 or more years at managerial, regional, or senior manager level
• Proven track record in technical business development and Business-to-Business (B2B) commercial growth
• Strong knowledge of food ingredient applications and Food and Beverage (F&B) product development, particularly for bakery, flour milling, wafer, biscuits and cookies, and noodles applications
• Experience working across Asia Pacific (APAC) markets, including strategic and key account management
• Strong ability to manage strategic customers, distributors, and regional accounts, building relationships and developing long-term commercial partnerships
• Knowledge of pricing, commercial negotiations, contracts, margins, and competitive positioning
• Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging food trends to identify commercial opportunities
• Understanding of new product development from concept and trials through to commercialization, including coordination with Research and Development (R&D) and technical teams
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills, with willingness to travel regionally
