Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist with the processing of supplier invoices, payment vouchers and employee expense claims.
Check invoice details against purchase orders, delivery records and supporting documents.
Perform routine data entry and update accounts payable records in the accounting system.
Support the preparation of payment schedules and the processing of payments via bank transfers, GIRO and other approved methods.
Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and the resolution of billing discrepancies.
Follow up with suppliers and relevant departments on outstanding invoices and payment-related matters.
Maintain an organised filing system for invoices, payment documents and other finance records.
Provide support for month-end closing, reconciliations and audit documentation.
Follow established company policies, financial controls and accounting procedures.
Assist with general finance and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
