Job Summary
We are looking for a QC Lab Assistant to support the Quality Control team in managing packaging materials, labelling activities, documentation, stock monitoring and general laboratory operations in accordance with company procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Key Responsibilities
- Record all issuance, receiving and stock activities accurately in the required documents and logbooks.
- Assist in the release, rejection and approval of packaging materials as instructed by the QC team.
- Prepare and issue packaging materials to the Production Department according to the Bill of Material (BOM).
- Monitor and maintain sufficient stock of packaging materials, labels and holograms.
- Inspect, check and store labels and literature in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain proper records of materials in the Label Room.
- Perform daily checking and calibration of weighing balances and label counter machines.
- Monitor and report any OOS, variance or abnormalities involving the Label Room or related instruments.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the Label Room and laboratory areas.
- Assist with TPM and maintenance activities for Label Room instruments.
- Maintain and update relevant usage logbooks and documentation.
- Assist in the destruction of expired documents and other QC documentation activities.
- Work closely with QA, Warehouse and Production to support smooth QC operations.
- Perform other QC-related duties as assigned by the Head of Labelling & Stability, Assistant Manager or QC Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in QC, laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and documentation procedures.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Able to work well with different departments and follow established procedures.
- Willing to work at Noripharma, Klang.
