We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and technically competent Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, testing, maintaining, and supervising electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, quality requirements, and project timelines.

The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and experience in managing electrical engineering activities, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and supervise electrical systems, installations, and equipment.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed according to approved designs and project timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality, safety, and functionality of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, BOQs, material requirements, and project documentation.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, panels, and distribution systems.
• Identify electrical faults, technical issues, and operational challenges, and recommend effective solutions.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor the utilization of electrical materials, equipment, manpower, and other project resources.
• Assist in procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating electrical equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, testing, and project progress.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, or project execution.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and relevant engineering software.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with electrical panels, transformers, generators, motors, and power distribution systems.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards, quality control, and engineering practices.
• PEC registration will be preferred.
