Possess a Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.

Demonstrate 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory setting, preferably within the cosmetics or personal care industry.

Proficient in performing various chemical analyses, including but not limited to titration, pH testing, and viscosity measurements.

Experience in formulation development for skincare products, understanding ingredient interactions and stability.

Skilled in implementing and maintaining Quality Control (QC) procedures to ensure product consistency and safety.

Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) processes, including experimental design and data interpretation.

Adept at utilizing common laboratory techniques and instrumentation such as spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR) and chromatography (HPLC, GC).

Understanding of skincare science, including the properties and benefits of various active ingredients.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance relevant to cosmetic product manufacturing in Malaysia and target export markets.

Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.

Conduct rigorous chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished skincare products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications.

Develop and optimize new skincare formulations, leveraging expertise in skincare science and product development to create innovative and effective products.

Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process, identifying and resolving any deviations or issues.

Perform comprehensive research and development activities to explore new ingredients, technologies, and product concepts for the OEM skincare market.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including spectroscopy and chromatography instruments, ensuring accurate and reliable analytical results.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and regulatory affairs, to support product development from concept to commercialization.

Ensure all formulations and manufacturing processes comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Document all experimental procedures, results, and observations meticulously, contributing to the company's knowledge base and intellectual property.
