SP Group Hiring! Full Time Executive-Senior Engineer (Electricity Distribution Network Planning) in - Ricebowl

What You’ll Do

• Primary role is to plan and design the distribution network of Singapore to meet consumer needs, electrification of energy, and integration of distributed energy resources into the distribution network.
• Formulate connection schemes and charges for consumers and distributed energy resources.
• Manage customer relationships and expectations to facilitate effective coordination, timely issue resolution, and successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape proposals, align priorities, resolve concerns, and gain support to secure project approvals and organisational buy-ins.
• Develop load and renewable energy forecasting capabilities and databases to support network planning.
• Opportunities to lead a team of technical officers to process customer applications for electricity supply and provide consultations on electrification schemes and substation requirements for new developments
• Ad-hoc stretch projects and/or tasks which may be assigned by the section and/or branch head from time to time.

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• A positive learning attitude, with a willingness to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in planning or design of a distribution network is an added advantage.
