Responsibilities
Salary Range: S$5,000-$5,500
Key Responsibilities
Manage the administration of construction contracts for road infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, project specifications and applicable LTA requirements.Prepare, review and administer subcontract agreements, letters of award, purchase orders and other contractual documentation.Monitor contractual obligations, submission deadlines and project milestones to ensure timely compliance by all relevant parties.Review and assess subcontractor progress payment claims, prepare payment recommendations and ensure accurate valuation of work completed.Evaluate variations, Engineer's Instructions and changes to the scope of works, including the assessment and negotiation of associated costs.Prepare, review and manage contractual claims, extension of time submissions and other commercial correspondence in coordination with the project team.Manage subcontractor claims, contractual disputes and outstanding commercial issues, supporting negotiations and resolution in accordance with contract provisions.Maintain accurate records of contractual correspondence, payment certificates, variation orders, claims registers and other contract administration documents.Prepare and monitor subcontract final accounts, reconcile outstanding payments and variations, and ensure timely commercial close-out of subcontract packages.Liaise with the Commercial Manager, project managers, engineers, subcontractors and consultants to identify contractual risks, resolve issues and provide regular contract status updates.Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience, including at least 5 years in LTA road construction or major civil infrastructure projects in Singapore.Strong knowledge of construction contract administration, subcontract management, payment certification, variation assessment and contractual claims.Proven experience handling subcontract agreements, contractual correspondence, final accounts and commercial issues on major road construction or infrastructure projects.Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontract packages independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.Clarence Khoh
