Part-Time Piano & Drums Teacher

Location: Butterworth, Penang

Job Description

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Part-Time Music Teachers specializing in Piano and Drums to provide music lessons to students of different age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidates should have a strong musical background, good teaching abilities, and the ability to create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct piano and/or drums lessons for students based on their age, skill level, and learning needs.
• Teach basic music theory, reading musical notes, rhythm, techniques, and practical playing skills.
• Prepare structured lesson plans and learning materials.
• Guide students in developing their musical abilities, confidence, and performance skills.
• Monitor students' learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding students' progress when necessary.

Requirements

• Possess relevant musical qualifications or a strong background in piano and/or drums.
• Proficient in playing piano or drums; ability to teach both instruments is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in music teaching is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially when teaching children.
• Patient, responsible, enthusiastic, and passionate about music education.
• Able to work part-time based on an agreed teaching schedule.
• Fresh graduates with relevant musical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
