About the Role

SSRV (M) Sdn. Bhd., a leading integrated property and facilities management service provider in Malaysia, is looking for a proactive Electrical Engineer to support our facilities management operations at MATRADE / Bank Negara Malaysia (Shah Alam) / MITEC / Rawang.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical systems, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and efficient building operations in accordance with client requirements and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, inspection and maintenance of electrical installations and building electrical systems to ensure reliability, safety and operational efficiency.
• Plan, monitor and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise equipment breakdowns and service disruptions.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, identify root causes and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with technicians, contractors and service providers.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to site technicians and contractors to ensure maintenance work is carried out safely and according to established procedures.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, work orders and equipment performance to ensure timely completion and compliance with service requirements.
• Ensure electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with applicable statutory requirements, safety standards and client-specific procedures.
• Coordinate electrical inspections, testing, servicing and repair works, including follow-up on outstanding defects and recommendations.
• Support the management of maintenance costs, spare parts, manpower and other operational resources within the approved budget.
• Maintain accurate technical records, maintenance reports, inspection checklists and incident documentation.
• Liaise with clients, facilities management teams, contractors and relevant authorities on electrical maintenance and operational matters.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance building performance and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering, building maintenance or facilities management.
• Good knowledge of building electrical systems, electrical distribution, switchgear, lighting systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, contractor coordination and technical reporting.
• Understanding of electrical safety, statutory compliance and building maintenance practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work on-site at one of the designated project locations: MATRADE / Bank Negara Malaysia (Shah Alam) / MITEC / Rawang.
• Candidates who are able to join immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
