Who we are

Löyly Studio is Singapore’s home for the authentic traditional Finnish sauna ritual. At 34 Siglap Drive, guests take their time in the heat, cool down, sit with friends and strangers in the lounge, and come back for more. For many of them, löyly has become a weekly practice rather than an occasional treat.

We are affiliated with Sauna from Finland, and our sister company, Steamsauna Singapore, designs, builds and installs authentic Finnish saunas, steam rooms and cold plunges for homes and commercial spaces from a showroom under the same roof. We are a small team, and the person we hire will see the result of their own work every week.

The role

Once the sauna becomes part of someone’s week, a question tends to follow: can I have this at home? This role is our answer. You will take the Finnish sauna experience our guests already know from the studio and help them bring it home, and you will make sure that, once it is home, it is cared for the way we care for guests on our floor.

You will own two things. First, our one-person home sauna: a compact Finnish sauna that fits a 1 m × 1 m corner of a flat and installs in under a week, built by Steamsauna Singapore. Our marketing campaign and our studio floor bring the enquiries; you turn them into happy owners. Second, our existing clients: the homes and businesses we have built saunas, steam rooms and cold plunges for since 2016, who deserve regular care and have not always had it. You will reconnect with every one of them and look after them properly.

This is not a cold-calling job. The leads come to you, from our campaigns, our members, and guests who step out of the sauna and want to know more. Your job is to respond fast, make people feel looked after, get the details right, and follow through to the end.

What you will do

• Reply to every enquiry within 24 hours, by WhatsApp, email or in person at the studio.

• Host studio visits and private sauna trials at Löyly Studio, so clients feel the heat before they decide.

• Work with our guest experience team so that a member’s interest in a home sauna is picked up on the floor and passed to you the same day.

• Check that the home sauna fits the client’s space, from a floor plan or a short site visit.

• Prepare quotations on our template, follow up until the decision is made, and hand confirmed projects to the installation team with a clear brief.

• Build and keep our register of past clients, contact each one, and arrange the servicing their sauna, steam room or cold plunge needs.

• Raise invoices on completion and follow up until payment is received.

• Check in with clients after installation or service, help them settle into their own sauna practice at home, and ask for reviews and referrals.

• Keep our pipeline and service records current and tell the team each month what is working.

You will report to a co-founder and work closely with the Steamsauna Singapore installation and service team and the Löyly Studio guest experience team.

Who we are looking for

No sauna or technical qualification is needed; we will teach you the product in your first month, and the Finnish sauna tradition behind it. What we cannot teach is how you work, so this is what we hire for:

• A people person. Warm, upbeat and easy to talk to. First-time enquirers relax around you, and past clients are glad to hear from you.

• Organised and meticulous. You run several things at once, plan weeks ahead, and your quotes and records are right first time.

• Goal-oriented with strong ownership. You take accountability for your targets and for every client, and you follow up until nothing is left open: an open quote, a promised call-back, an unpaid invoice.

• Analytical. You read the monthly numbers, notice what is working, and say so.

You will likely have 1 to 4 years in a role that combined selling with looking after customers afterwards, such as wellness studios, home improvement, air-conditioning, hospitality, renovation or interior design. Fluent, friendly written English matters, since much of our selling happens on WhatsApp. Own transport is an advantage, and if you are not yet a sauna user, you will be.

• S$3,200 a month basic salary, plus sales commission.
