CAT GROOMER - New Cat-Only Salon in Sembawang

Do you talk to cats like they're people? We'd love to meet you.

Yukiyo is a cat-only grooming brand in Singapore. We groom cats in their own homes across the island, and we share our grooming days with a big community on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook (@yukiyo.sg).

Now we're opening our first salon in Sembawang and we are looking for groomers to build it with us.

Basic + commission: S$2,500 to S$4,000 a month.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Groom cats of all coat lengths: baths, blow drying, nail trims, ear and eye cleaning, sanitary trims, de-shedding and mat removal

• Learn and carry out cuts like lion and bear cuts

• Read each cat's body language and adjust. Gentle handling, no scruffing

• Stay calm with fearful and aggressive cats

• Keep your tools and grooming area clean and hygienic

• Talk to paw parents before and after each groom, and explain how it went

• Help with daily salon tasks as the team grows

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You're gentle and patient, and you truly love cats

• You talk to cats like you'd talk to a person

• An angry cat doesn't scare you. You stay calm and let the cat set the pace

• You're reliable, tidy and responsible

Experience

Experienced cat groomers are preferred. No experience? Apply anyway. If you have the right attitude, we'll train you from the get-go.

WORKING HOURS

• Salon hours: 10am to 7pm daily, closed on public holidays

• 5 to 6 working days a week. Rotational off days.
