About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Science Lab cum Admin Support Assistant to support the science laboratory operations and provide administrative support in an MOE Primary School near Sengkang MRT. You will work closely with the HOD/LH-Science and Vice Principal, Administration Managers/Executives and School Leaders to ensure smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities

• To prepare apparatus and set-ups and render help to teachers during Science Experiments in the laboratory or class

• To do stock take twice a year (Mid-year & End of year)

• To maintain cleanliness and neatness in the Science Laboratory

• To take care of the Science Corners - Spices & Herbs, Cactus & Fernery, Hydroponics, Vertical Garden

• To assist in harvesting and transplanting at the hydroponics & vertical garden

• To help the teachers in the Science activities during recess time

• To help with the recycling programme on Thursdays during recess time.

Job Requirements

• Excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and with the ability to multi-task

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Preferably to be proficient in MS Office

• Preferably with working experience in a school laboratory.

Employment Details

Contract Period:  From 01 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Service may be required ad hoc for E2K Science

• Service may be required during the school holidays

• Service not required on PSLE Oral, LC and marking days

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
