We are looking for a high-performing Quantity Surveyor who is cost-aware, detail-oriented and able to
translate project requirements into accurate, competitive and well-structured quotations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate project quotations, cost proposals and pricing based on approved design and project requirements.
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications and relevant information before preparing quotations.
- Ensure pricing is complete, competitive and aligned with target Gross Profit (GP).
- Identify cost gaps, missing scope, pricing risks and discrepancies before proposal issuance.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to obtain accurate technical, design and costing information.
- Prepare clear and professional proposals for client presentation.
- Manage quotation revisions efficiently following design, scope or client requirement changes.
- Maintain accurate costing records, quotation versions and supporting documentation.
- Support clarification and negotiation of project pricing when required.
- Ensure approved project cost information is properly documented and handed over for the next project stage.
- Continuously improve quotation accuracy, turnaround time and cost efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years working experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within residential construction, renovation, interior design or Design & Build.
- Strong understanding of construction costing, materials, labour rates and pricing.
- Able to interpret architectural, interior design and technical drawings.
- Strong numerical, analytical and cost-control skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple quotations and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability.
