1. Food Safety & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure legal compliance with existing hygiene and food safety legislation in accordance to Food Act 1983 (Act 281)
• Participate in the review process of annual improvement QHSE year plan and roadmap.
• Provide technical support and advice on Malaysian legislative (Food Act & it's regulations) and company requirement on Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and internal HACCP program.
• Take part in the process of site mobilizations to ensure food and workplace safety compliance prior to site opening.
• Ensure the safety standards are maintained and continually seek ways to improve safety standard.
• Work with Sodexo's Country and regional team on improving the overall QHSE standards. Updating latest food safety process and procedures, new operating process documentation if required.
• Audits: Conduct internal audits; provide support to operations team to formulate and follow up on corrective actions plans
• Prepare sites and facilitate external audits Follow up with vendor and purchase team regarding any deviation from product quality in the raw materials/ conduct vendor audits in collaboration with Country HSE and Supply Management teams when necessary Liaise with Local Authority Inspectors and enforcement officials as required.
• Training: Deliver food safety training presentations to operational teams as appropriate Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools to deliver training Set up educational programs and campaigns to promote a culture of hygiene and food safety and environmental awareness Carry-out, follow-up and monitor progress of training and OJT for staffs on food safety procedures.
• Other duties as reasonably requested from time to time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
