Looking for an experienced Finance and Accounting Transformation expert for a global MNC with an office in KL.

Our client is a leading international professional services organization with a strong global presence. As part of its continued transformation journey, the organisation is investing significantly in finance process excellence, technology enablement, and operating model enhancement across multiple international markets.

They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Expert to lead key finance transformation initiatives and partner closely with finance and technology stakeholders globally.

Your new role

• Drive end-to-end finance transformation and process improvement initiatives across a multinational environment.
• Lead project delivery for finance modernization programs, including process optimisation, governance improvements, and technology-enabled enhancements.
• Partner with finance leadership, shared services, and technology teams to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, automation, and operational excellence.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems, digital finance platforms, and emerging technology solutions.
• Review and strengthen finance processes, controls, policies, and reporting frameworks to improve effectiveness and scalability.
• Manage project governance, stakeholder communication, timelines, risks, and delivery milestones across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate change management initiatives, including training, adoption, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior finance and business leaders on transformation priorities and execution strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline. Professional qualification is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience within Finance Transformation, Accounting Transformation, Finance Projects, PMO, or related change management functions.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting processes, governance, and internal controls.
• Experience participating in ERP implementation, system enhancement, or finance digitisation initiatives.
• Exposure to automation, digital tools, data-driven finance solutions, or AI-enabled technologies would be highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and project leadership capabilities.
• Prior experience within consulting, multinational corporations, shared services, or global environments will be an added advantage.
