Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the banking or finance sector.

In-depth knowledge and practical application of the Direct Selling Act in Malaysia.

Proven ability to interpret and ensure compliance with Malaysian regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with the ability to articulate complex legal and compliance matters clearly.

Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Experience in conducting internal investigations and risk assessments.

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive legal and compliance policies and procedures aligned with Malaysian laws and financial regulations, including the Direct Selling Act.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance gaps and proactively implement corrective actions to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Provide expert legal advice and guidance to senior management and various departments on a wide range of legal and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

Manage and oversee all regulatory filings, submissions, and interactions with relevant Malaysian authorities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory landscapes in the financial sector and direct selling industry in Malaysia, advising the company on necessary policy updates and strategic adjustments.

Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents, safeguarding the company's interests and ensuring legal compliance.

Manage and resolve any legal disputes or litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.

Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees across the organization to foster a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
