Responsibilities
About the role
The Early Years Teacher will work in the Kindergarten English International Stream at the Pok Fu Lam Campus. The Kindergarten integrates both the German International Stream and the English International Stream, where students work and learn together under one roof. The successful candidate shall be an excellent classroom practitioner who is dedicated to enabling each child to achieve the highest possible standards.
Key responsibilities
Deliver inspiring lessons that engage children of Kindergarten age range grounded in a nurturing, caring, child-centred approach
Develop and adapt an instructional programme based on the EYFS framework
Work closely and effectively with the children and their parents/carers
Develop the curriculum to suit children's developmental needs
Demonstrate proficiency with learning technologies and use software to track pupil progress
Maintain excellent classroom management and organisational standards
Communicate effectively within a team and take the lead in areas of specialism
About you
A relevant Early Years qualification with at least five years of classroom experience teaching Kindergarten pupils
The ability to deliver inspiring lessons that engage children of Kindergarten age range grounded in a nurturing, caring, child-centred approach
Experience in delivering, developing and adapting an instructional programme based on the EYFS framework would be an advantage
Openness to new ideas and practices with the ability to develop the curriculum to suit children's developmental needs
Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Demonstrate proficiency with learning technologies and experience of using software to track pupil progress
Cultural openness and ability to work collaboratively within a highly motivated team
Flexible, proactive, patient with the confidence and ability to use initiative appropriately
A reflective practitioner who is willing to learn from others and take ownership of their professional learning and development
Excellent command of spoken and written English
