We are seeking a technically versatile DevSecOps / Database Administrator to support secure software delivery and reliable database operations. You will manage deployment automation, database maintenance, performance optimisation, access controls and data recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and infrastructure configurations.
• Integrate security checks and compliance controls into software delivery workflows.
• Manage cloud, containerised and Linux-based environments.
• Administer databases, including configuration, upgrades, maintenance and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain SQL/PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures and data synchronisation scripts.
• Manage database access controls, backup, recovery and data security.
• Troubleshoot application delivery and database issues, and coordinate system improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant DevSecOps and/or database administration experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on database administration experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL/PL/SQL and database maintenance, backup, recovery and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Linux administration and database security.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments is an advantage.
